3D ARTIST

With over 15 years in post-production, I'm a 3D generalist who thrives on bringing creative visions to life through meticulous modeling, lookdev, texturing, and lighting.

Currently, I'm a Senior 3D Artist at Bluebolt VFX, where I've had the privilege of contributing to some truly exceptional projects. My environment and asset work helped bring the gothic atmosphere to life in the VES Award-winning Nosferatu, supported the epic scale of the Battle of Toulon in Ridley Scott's BAFTA-nominated Napoleon, and I stepped into my first leadership role as Lead 3D Artist on Outlander Season 8. Currently, I'm managing a team of 8 artists on an exciting new project, overseeing complex asset builds and shot delivery.

What excites me most is the collaborative aspect of VFX. I love working with 2D teams to solve those tricky creative and technical challenges that seem impossible at first glance. Whether I'm crafting photorealistic environments or diving into the technical depths of Maya, Arnold, Nuke, or Substance Painter, I'm always looking for that perfect balance between artistic vision and technical excellence.

I'm passionate about giving back to the VFX community through Access VFX events, where I focus on helping and mentoring newcomers to the industry. But some of my best creative inspiration comes from my life outside the studio—I'm passionate about 35mm film photography, spending weekends capturing street scenes or in the darkroom printing black and white photographs. There's something about the patience and precision required in analog photography that keeps my eye sharp and my approach to digital artistry grounded.
